Marsh and Lloyd’s present the Lloyd’s City Risk Index Breakfast Discussion
FRIDAY, MAY 20, 2016
08:00am to 10:00am The Lloyd’s City Risk Index 2015
– 2025 analyses, for the first time, the potential impact on the economic output (GDP@Risk) of 301 of the world’s major cities from 18 manmade and natural threats. It shows that a total of $4.6 trillion of the cities’ projected GDP are at risk from manmade and natural disasters – those that have occurred in the past and are likely to do so again in the future.
Not only does the index identify and quantify key risks, it is also a valuable tool that can help governments, businesses and communities to understand how they can manage risk and improve the resilience of infrastructure and institutions.
Marsh and Lloyd’s are pleased to invite you to an exclusive breakfast discussion. At this event, Kent Chaplin, the Head of Asia-Pacific and Managing Director for Lloyd’s Asia, will share some of the key findings of the Lloyd’s City Risk Index and elaborate on some of the the top risks in this region, based on the Index.
A panel of experts from both Marsh and Lloyd’s will also examine how risks can impact your business operations, as well as the range of insurance and risk management solutions that can help you to mitigate risks and minimize your exposures. There will be opportunities for you to network and share experiences and best practices on risk management with the business community. VENUE
